Braden G. Boyd, Jr. was born in 1926 to Braden and Marjorie Boyd who lived in East Nottingham, Pennsylvania. Braden was the youngest of four children. His father was a printer at a local newspaper.
Braden later moved to Coatesville.
Braden entered the Army on October 23. 1943 After basic training he was sent overseas to the European Theater of Operations and was assigned to the 2nd Calvary Reconnaissance Squadron.
Private Braden G. Boyd Jr. died of wounds on November 25, 1944 in France. He is buried as the
Lorraine America Cemetery in St Avold France.
