Theodore Gill was born on February 21, 1913 to Leon and Doris Gill who lived in Rock Run, Pennsylvania. Theodore was the second oldest of seven children. His father was a mill worker in a steel plant.

Theodore was employed by Lukens Steel Company for 15 years before being called into service. He was a foreman in the shipping department.

Theodore married Christine Canale on June 7, 1937.

Theodore joined the Army on March 7, 1944. 

Private Theodore Gill was killed in action on November 19, 1944. 

Theodore was returned to home for burial in 1948. Services were held on August 14, 1948 at the Gensemer Funeral Home. Theodore was laid to rest with full military honors at Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville. He was survived by his wife Christine and to children Theodore Jr, and Charles.
