Samuel Pollini was born on July 21, 1920 to James Mamizza and Josephine Irena Pollini who lived in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. 

Samuel entered service in the Army on August 1, 1942.

Private First Class Samuel Pollini died non battle on June 24, 1945, in Germany. He is buried at the Saint Joseph cemetery in West Bradford Township.
