John R Taylor was born in 1918, to Mr. and Mrs. Anne Taylor who livedin Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
John entered the service in the Army and trained at Camp Livingston, Louisiana. After training, he was sent to the European Theater of Operations where he participated in the Normandy France Landings.
John was killed in action on April 4, 1945 in Kapfelberg, Germany. John is buried the Pottstown East End Cemetery.
